The company behind Jucy car and campervan rentals has recently opened a new budget hotel in downtown Auckland, not surprisingly called the Jucy Hotel. The hotel is very centrally located being only minutes away from any of the downtown attractions. Going by the website the rooms looks brightly decorated, with only the ensuite rooms offering you more facilities than a private hostel room would give you. Special offer rates start from $49 (which is cheaper than a private double room in a hostel) , but it looks like the standard price for a double room with Shared Bathroom is around $90, to $119 for en suite which also offers additional facilities in the room such as a TV.
